Mom's Pull-Apart Caramel Rolls

Ingredients

  • 2 tubes country biscuits, cut into fourths
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar (for sauce)
  • ¾ cup light brown sugar
  • ¾ cup butter
  • ¾ cup vanilla ice cream
  • ½ cup granulated sugar (for coating)
  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon

Directions

  1. Whisk ½ cup sugar and cinnamon together and place some of the mixture in a medium bowl or tub of some sort
  2. One at a time, place a chunk of biscuit dough in the sugar and shake/roll to evenly coat
  3. Put dough chunks in a lightly greased 9x13 pan
  4. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  5. Melt and combine the ¾ sugar, brown sugar, butter and ice cream on low heat until everything seems well mixed
  6. Cover the dough chunks in the pan with the melted caramel sauce
  7. Bake for 20 minutes
  8. Take out of the oven, and flip the 9x13 pan onto a larger sheet pan. The caramel sauce should pool underneath the cooked rolls.
