Goes well with toasted crusty bread

Ingredients

  • 1 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 14oz can san marzano tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp garlic
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • salt to taste

Directions

  1. In a saucepan, cook garlic in oil for a few minutes
  2. Add everything else, bring up to a simmer
  3. Let simmer for at 20-30 minutes
  4. Mix very well with an immersion or standard blender. This sauce/dip will separate easily.
