Ingredients
- 1 can pinto beans, drained and thoroughly rinsed
- 2 tbsp grapeseed oil
- 1 tsp garlic
- 1/4 tsp ground cumin
- 1 1/2 oz blanco tequila
- 1 1/2 oz lime juice, fresh squeezed
- salt and pepper to taste
Optional Ingredients
- hot sauce, to taste
- cilantro, chopped, to taste
Directions
- Heat a sauté pan, add oil and start frying the beans, garlic and cumin
- After about 2 minutes, add the tequila and lime juice. Add hot sauce if you are using it.
- Cook until the tequila is cooked off, and the liquid is absorbed by the beans.
- Take off the heat, add any optional extra ingredients and serve right away
