Mustard Vinegar Barbecue Sauce


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups yellow mustard
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 3/4 cup beer
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp white pepper
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/2 tsp liquid smoke
  • 1 tsp hot sauce

Directions

  1. Heat over very low heat until it just starts to bubble. Taste as it cooks to make sure the ‘raw’ alcohol flavor of the beer is gone.
